Artem Zine: Author Guidelines
Artem Zine is an interdisciplinary academic and creative outlet in print form, designed to push the boundaries of knowledge sharing and dissemination. We welcome scholars, researchers, doctoral students, and academics to contribute their knowledge creation, research, or academic ideas in innovative and collaborative ways. Below are the guidelines for submitting your work for consideration in future issues.
Submission Requirements
1. General Guidelines
Word Limit: Submissions should not exceed 2,000 words, excluding references, abstracts, and acknowledgements.
Interdisciplinary Focus: We encourage interdisciplinary work that bridges academic fields and creative practices.
Creativity and Collaboration: Submissions should demonstrate creativity in content, form, or methodology. Collaborative works are highly encouraged.
Ethical Considerations: Authors must address ethical considerations relevant to their work, including but not limited to research involving human subjects, data privacy, and intellectual property.
Originality: Submissions must be original and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
2. Submission Format
All submissions must include the following components in a single Word document:
Title Page:
Full name(s) of the author(s)
Affiliation(s) (e.g., university, research institution)
Email address(es)
ORCID iD(s) (for all authors)
Short biography (max 100 words per author)
Abstract (max 250 words)
Keywords (5–7 terms)
Main Document:
Manuscript (including figures, tables, and captions)
References (APA 7th edition)
Acknowledgements (if applicable)
Conflict of Interest Statement
Funding Information (if applicable)
Figures/Photos:
Include all figures or photos in transparent PNG format.
Ensure high resolution (minimum 300 DPI).
Provide captions and source information for all visual elements.
3. Referencing Style
All references must follow the APA 7th edition guidelines.
Ensure all in-text citations and the reference list are complete and accurate.
4. Ethical Guidelines
Research Ethics: If your work involves human subjects, include a statement confirming ethical approval from a relevant review board.
Plagiarism: Submissions will be screened for plagiarism. Any form of academic dishonesty will result in rejection.
Authorship: All authors must have contributed significantly to the work and agree to its submission.
Conflict of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
5. Submission Process
Prepare your submission as per the guidelines above.

Use the subject line: Submission for Artem Zine – [Last Name_First Name_Day_Month_Year].
Attach the following:
Word document (containing all submission components)
Figures/photos (in transparent PNG format)
6. Review Process
Submissions will undergo a caring review process to ensure academic rigor, nurturing, positive and affective feedback is provided.
Authors will be notified of the outcome within 3-4 weeks.
Feedback and revisions may be requested before final acceptance.
7. Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work but grant Artem Zine the right to publish and distribute the work in print and digital formats.
Published works will be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0) unless otherwise agreed.
